Police in Enugu has revealed that a woman has allegedly bathed her
husband with a substance said to be an acid during a scufflle.
The woman who has not been named by the police was said to have bathed
her husband with acid, leaving him unconscious before he was rushed to
St. Anthony's Hospital, Obeachara, Nsukka where he is currently being
treated.
The State Police Public Relations Officer,Mr Ebere Amariaizutold
newsmen that the woman who fled the scene immediately, has not been
found since the incident happened on Tuesday, October 21.
He however assured that investigations had commenced in full scale to
establish the circumstances surrounding the act.
He added that efforts had also been intensified to ensure that the
suspect is arrested and brought to book.
