be offered employment in the institution.
Speaking at the 5th convocation ceremony of the University on Friday,
Dr. Mimiko also gave automatic employment, into the State Civil
Service, to students who made First Class and desirous of working in
the state.
Mimiko said it was the determination of the Ondo state government to
ensure that the products of the University were globally competitive,
saying that the state government was committed to adequate funding of
the institutions, including primary and secondary schools.
He noted that his administration had left no stone unturned in giving
the University total support in its determination to ensure speedy
development.
Governor Mimiko thanked the out-going Vice- Chancellor, Prof. Femi
Mimiko for his leadership quality in ensuring that the goals of the
institution were realised.
