Pandemonium at National Assembly, Police, SSS lock out Tambuwal

There is pandemonium at the National Assembly as policemen and SSS
operatives stopped the speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr.
Aminu Tambuwal, from entering the premises. Amid a hail of tear-gas,
Tambuwal was forcibly taken into the complex by angry lawmakers
protesting the action of the security personnel.
The speaker trekked from the gates to the main complex, a distance of
over 500 metres. Senate president, David Mark and several senators and
many reps were also delayed for hours at the gate before they finally
entered the assembly. Confusion is still ongoing…
